I built data warehouses, carried out platform migrations and produced reports for supervisory authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Projects where traceability is not optional. Where a figure in a report has to be traceable back to the source, because sooner or later someone will ask.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024 I founded KITech. The reason was simple: what is taken for granted in large groups \u2014 clean data models, documented processes, results that can be checked \u2014 is often missing entirely in smaller companies. Not from carelessness, but because nobody is there to build it.<\/p>\n<p>Then a second topic arrived. Since 2024 I have worked intensively with AI: agents, automations, flow-based systems. The combination is rare \u2014 someone who knows how a data warehouse works in a bank, and also what a language model can do today and what it cannot.<\/p>\n\n<h3>What we stand for<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Traceable.<\/strong> Every result has to be explainable. Systems that nobody understands any more are a risk.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Honest about effort.<\/strong> Better to say once that something is not worth it than to run a project that helps nobody.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ready to hand over.<\/strong> Documentation and a briefing are part of the project. You should be able to work independently.<\/li>\n<li><strong>One point of contact.<\/strong> No passing the work on. The person who writes the proposal also implements it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>One core, one network<\/h3>\n<p>KITech is led by Ingo Zimmermann. For projects that need extra capacity or specialist knowledge, we work with a fixed network of developers, designers and infrastructure specialists.
