Separate data stores, inconsistent definitions, no shared foundation.<\/p><p><strong>Aufgabe:<\/strong> A new enterprise data warehouse across all product lines \u2014 while the legacy systems stayed in operation.<\/p><p><strong>Solution:<\/strong> Overall architecture with a bypass for parallel running, a BI layer and marts, restartable load concepts, web-service returns, automated tests and row-level permissions.<\/p><p><strong>Ergebnis:<\/strong> A shared data foundation across all lines; specialist teams produce their own reports, and results are traceable back to the source.<\/p><p><strong>Technologies:<\/strong> SAS DI Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, Oracle, DB2, CA ERwin, PowerDesigner, Toad, SOAP<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/kitech.ai\/en\/referenzen\/data-warehouse-versicherer\/\">Details of this project \u2192<\/a><\/p><hr \/><h3 id=\"banking\">Regulatory applications for a major bank<\/h3><p><strong>Branche:<\/strong> Banking \u00a0|\u00a0 <strong>Zeitraum:<\/strong> 2010\u20132012 \u00a0|\u00a0 <strong>Rolle:<\/strong> Development &amp; technical project leadership<\/p><p><strong>Starting point:<\/strong> After several banks were acquired, data sat in different core banking systems \u2014 while supervisory requirements kept rising.<\/p><p><strong>Solution:<\/strong> Four applications: AML, automated credit decisions, deposit guarantee and FATCA \u2014 from development through to taking over operations.<\/p><p><strong>Ergebnis:<\/strong> Production applications in a supervisory environment, with documented processes and controlled batch processing.<\/p><p><strong>Technologies:<\/strong> SAS Base\/Macro\/Access\/DI Studio, Oracle, DB2, AIX, Unix Shell, Control-M<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/kitech.ai\/en\/referenzen\/regulatorik-banking\/\">Details of this project \u2192<\/a><\/p><hr \/><h3 id=\"cloud\">Platform migration to the cloud<\/h3><p><strong>Branche:<\/strong> Retail |\u00a0 <strong>Zeitraum:<\/strong> 2021\u20132022 \u00a0|\u00a0 <strong>Rolle:<\/strong> Development &amp; systems engineering<\/p><p><strong>Aufgabe:<\/strong> Migration of CRM and reporting systems to the cloud while operations continued.<\/p><p><strong>Solution:<\/strong> Teradata \u2192 Google BigQuery \/ Teradata Cloud, reengineering of existing scripts, inclusion in batch operations, new web front ends for reporting and campaigns.<\/p><p><strong>Ergebnis:<\/strong> Reporting and campaign systems run on the new platform \u2014 without interrupting daily business.<\/p><p><strong>Technologies:<\/strong> SAS, Teradata, Google BigQuery, Google Cloud, Linux, Shell<\/p><hr \/><h3 id=\"ifrs17\">IFRS 17 at an international reinsurer<\/h3><p><strong>Branche:<\/strong> Reinsurance  |\u00a0 <strong>Zeitraum:<\/strong> 2019 \u00a0|\u00a0 <strong>Rolle:<\/strong> Development &amp; analysis<\/p><p><strong>Solution:<\/strong> IFRS 17 concept and data analysis on OLAP cubes, risk reports, reports and dashboards, review of the business marts, training for specialist teams.<\/p><p><strong>Ergebnis:<\/strong> A reliable data foundation for the changeover \u2014 and specialist teams that work with the reporting tools on their own.<\/p><p><strong>Technologies:<\/strong> SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (OLAP)<\/p><hr \/><h3 id=\"zos\">Platform migration at an insurer<\/h3><p><strong>Branche:<\/strong> Insurance  |\u00a0 <strong>Zeitraum:<\/strong> 2014\u20132015 \u00a0|\u00a0 <strong>Rolle:<\/strong> Migration concept &amp; implementation<\/p><p><strong>Aufgabe:<\/strong> Full migration of the analysis systems from z\/OS to Linux \u2014 concept, test environment, production go-live.<\/p><p><strong>Ergebnis:<\/strong> A production analysis environment on Linux, defined from the test environment and fully documented.<\/p><p><strong>Technologies:<\/strong> SAS 9.2\/9.4, z\/OS, Linux, DB2, Citrix, RACF<\/p><hr \/><h3 id=\"ki\">AI-supported automation<\/h3><p><strong>Branche:<\/strong> In-house development &amp;
